Research interests

- Experimental fracture mechanics

- Brittle /ductile transition vs. seismic/seismic transition,

- Transformation induced plasticity and strain localization in dehydrating systems

- Poromechanics, Rock physical properties and fluid transport.

- Physical and mechanical properties of carbonated cements in light of CO2 underground sequestration

- Dec. 2002 : Ph. D, IPG Paris (doctoral degree in geophysics) at the Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris, under the direction of Professor Yves Guéguen.

- Jan. to Aug. 2003 : Post-doctorate training at the Petrophysics laboratory of ETH Zürich under the supervision of Dr. Luigi Burlini.

- Oct. 2003 to Dec. 2004 : NSERC (National Science and Environmental Research Council of Canada) post-doctoral fellow at the Lassonde Institute, University of Toronto, under the supervision of Pr. R. Paul Young.
