Rodolphe Cattin

Born: April 30, 1969, Nanterre, France.

Education:

  • Post-Doctoral Fellow at the LDG/CEA, 1998-1999.
  • PhD in Geophysics at the Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris, 1997.
  • Graduated in Geophysics from the Denis Diderot University and Magistere diploma (both diploma are Master equivalent) of Earth Sciences from the Ecole Normale Superieure - Pierre & Marie Curie University, 1993.

Responsibilities:

Since September 1999 In charge of Graduated Studies at the Ecole Normale Supérieure

Research activity:

Modelling of thermo-mechanical behavior of the lithosphere constrained from geological, geomorphic and geophysical data.

Teaching:

- 1994-1997 : Physics for undergraduate at the Denis Diderot University (Paris).

- 1999-present : Geophysics and seismotectonic for graduate at the Ecole Normale Supérieure.

Employment:

1999-present : Assistant Professor, Ecole Normale Supérieure.
