access :
From Biella, follow the signals to Andorno and then to Piedi cavalo. Once you 
have passed a bridge, follow the signals to the Sanctuary San Giovanni Galleria 
(Comune di Campiglia Cervo). Go on the way for about 2.5 km. Pass the short 
tunnel close to the Sanctuary and after about 50 meters you will see a parking 
area on the left and a mule-track on the right. On the top of the outerop located 
on the left of' the mule-track and at a distance of about 20 meters you will find 
the GPS markers (see picture and map).

GPS reference site :
It has been realized by spikes made of stainless steel. The head of the spikes 
have the shape of a semisphere with a small hole in the center.

The spikes are marked by red paint. On a rock at the beginning of the mule-track 
is reported GPS.

Geology :
Complesso di Sesia. Gneiss.

Housing :
You can house in the Hotel San Giovanni, located inside the Sanctuary. The 
Sanctuary is placed at about l00 meters distance from the GPS markers. Telephone, 
electricitvy220V, restaurant and hot water are avalaible in the Sanctuary.
